Description
Hoodoos are spires of stone that result when a larger boulder prevents softer rocks underneath from eroding away. These cones result when the boulder falls away and erosion attacks the softer rocks. These strange rocks are found at Kasha Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument on the flanks of the Jemez Caldera in northern New Mexico near Albuquerque.
